Day 30 Reporting – 2,024 Words/Day Process Log – Uh

I really thought I was going to be able to double my word count easily when I was having a hard time even making my regular goal which was the reason, I was behind in the first place.

Y’all.

Hope springs eternal and all that. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I ran out of energy as the day wore on. I guess the biggest mistake was going to the park right after I logged off work. I didn’t want to see another screen and figured that walking would give me a break. And it was lovely. My battery was just running down. And I thought I could sneak some words in during lunch which didn’t work either.

The best solution to writing more is probably just to get up earlier and write and/or adjust my goal. I won’t be able to make up my word count by the end of the month. Instead, I’m going to dribble and drab it – by adding 500 words each day. So, the goal will be 2,500 words a day instead of 2,024. It will take longer to catch up, which shouldn’t be a problem. I technically have all year.

I ordered a wrist brace. It should arrive tomorrow. So, that’s done.

Keep moving forward.
