Yesterday, I reached a word count personal best. I also had trouble falling asleep that night because my mind raced, and I couldn’t calm down. I’ve worked consistently on my sleep health for the past couple of years because I used to regularly wake up at 3 am because of stress. Well, this was a lesson to make sure to create some distance between the end of my writing workday and going to bed.
This is another piece of knowledge to tuck away on how I work best when writing, another adjustment.
Keep moving forward. Keep getting better.
