Day 4 Reporting – 2,024 Words/Day Process Log

The 5 pm – 9 pm challenge.

Note: There’s no need to keep doing something that isn’t working. If I say I’m going to write and don’t get around to it? That means something is wrong. I need to change something, anything that might give me a different result.

Do I need to change the location where I’m writing?

Do I need to change what I’m writing?

Do I need to work on a different project?

Do I need to change the time I’m writing such as maybe before dinner instead of dinner?

One thing I changed yesterday was I instituted a dedicated study period to work through one of the many courses I’ve purchased over the years. That worked out well. I learned I need to abandon the idea of using that huge 4-hour chunk of time.

Since the 1.5 hours of writing in the morning is chugging along, I’ll try the same in the evening – 1.5 hours from 7 pm – 8:30 pm, split into 25-minute sessions. That’ll give me time to exercise, eat dinner, and fulfill household duties/chores. After all, the dishes need to be cleaned and laundry needs to be done no matter what.
