Day 43 Reporting – 2,024 Words/Day Process Log –Broken

Saturday, I woke up feeling broken and achy. It’s been a while since that happened. In the past, this has been brought on by stress at work. This time, I think I simply was tired. Going to bed later than usual also didn’t help matters. It’s been a while since I felt that way. Usually, I’ll just lounge around in pajamas for the day, binging an old favorite like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine or Once Upon A Time or either iteration of Leverage. Copious cheese-flavored snacks (puffs, crackers, or the real thing) are typically involved. Copious cheese-flavored snacks were involved.

I was able to write 1,000 words which is half of my daily goal, but enough to make being on track for my weekly goal well within reach.

I’ve noticed that I tend to write less or not at all on the weekend. I used to not do anything on Saturdays, intentionally. I think I can try to think of Saturdays as reading days or going out days.  I have plenty of library books I want to read and since my energy lags starting Thursday evenings and starts to pick back up on Sunday. I’m writing this post on Sunday morning and slipped right into my regular routine – water, writing smoothie, wrist brace – with no problem.

When my energy starts picking up on Sundays when I begin to plan for the coming work week and get into work mode. That means I need to make sure is cleared with no events planned on Sundays, which I’m tempted to plan because Sundays are the only matinees some smaller theater companies in Atlanta perform. I just won’t go to them. They don’t work for my schedule which is unfortunate.

Still figuring all of this stuff out day by day. Yep. I think I’ll do that and see how it works.

Keep moving forward. Keep getting better.
